In this keynote presentation from the 2015 Worldwide Coaches Conference by BNP Paribas, Philipp Born analyses statistics gained from the ATP World Tour and addresses how to implement tactical serving patterns that are used in the professional game into the junior training and matchplay situations. The goal of the presentation is to show the newest insights of tennis related sport science and how to use these in everyday training and match routines.
It is considered by many to be the most improved shot in tennis over recent years, the return of serve forms the focus of this presentation. A number of key statistics are analysed, helping to shape a discussion around the key elements fundamental to an effective return. A series of practical teaching tips are also offered which can be immediately utilised by coaches with players of varying age and ability.

   Callum Beale(AUS):
Callum Beale works for Tennis Australia as the National Academy & Talent Development Manager in New South Wales, Australia. Prior to this role Callum worked in a variety of positions for Tennis Australia such as the Coach & Talent Development Manager ? NSW, and Athlete Development Manager in Perth. Callum has a Bachelor of Applied Science, Human Movement, is a Qualified High Performance coach, and is currently completing his Masters in Business. As a player Callum achieved a professional ATP singles and doubles ranking and 'All-American' status in the US college tennis system. Callum has also worked with a number of top 10 players (ATP and WTA) as a training and hitting partner.
   Philipp Born (GER):
Philipp Born is a graduate sport scientist and DTB licensed A tennis coach working at the German Sports University Cologne where he also is currently completing a PhD. From 2011 to 2015 he worked at the Regional Federation Mittelrhein. In addition Philipp is a first team player for Cologne THC Stadium Rot-Weiss.
   Michael Ebert (AUT):
Michael is a Certified Austrian Tennis Coach, and PTR-Professional. He is also a Junior Touring Coach (ITF, TE) and an International speaker for children and junior tennis. He is founder and president of the 'tennis4kids Academy'. He is also author of the tennis4kids which is a Step by Step Learning Program for children and tennis. He is the Austrian National Director for Junior Tennis and Austrian National Head Coach for Junior Tennis Development (8-14). He is also the ITF/Tennis Austria Coordinator for "Play & Stay" and "Tennis 10s".
